Consulate Celebrates Ramadan with Inaugural Iftar Dinner

The event, meticulously organised by the Consul General, proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for all who attended, marking a significant milestone in the consulate’s outreach efforts within the diverse Indian diaspora community.

Dignitaries from various sectors graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of cultural harmony and interfaith dialogue. Among the esteemed guests were Mark Coure MP, Jodie McKay, Jordan Lane MP, Donna Davis MP, Mark Robert Buttigieg MLC, Julia Finn MP, Irfan Malik Chair AIBC, whose presence added to the vibrancy of the evening.

Mark Coure, in his address, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees for their contributions to society, emphasising the collective strength and resilience that makes Australia one of the best in the world. She took the opportunity to announce the launch of the Parliamentary Friends of India, further cementing the ties between Australia and India on a parliamentary level. In a gesture of admiration, she bestowed three A+ ratings upon the Consul General for his exemplary efforts.

The Consul General’s tireless dedication to promoting cultural understanding and harmony did not go unnoticed, as attendees expressed their gratitude for the memorable evening. Warren, representing all Members of Parliament, extended warm wishes and blessings for Ramadan, emphasising the importance of spiritual reflection and connection to God during this sacred time.
