Naatu Naatu wins Best Original Song at Golden Globes

The Golden Globe Awards show was an evening of celebration and excitement as the best creators in film, television, and music were honored for their exceptional work. Last night, RRR fans around the world rejoiced as Naatu Naatu won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

Composed by MM Keeravani, “Naatu Naatu” is a beautiful ballad that captures the timeless love story between characters Ramaraju (Jr NTR) and Sita (Alia Bhatt). The song has quickly become a fan favorite around the world due to its simple lyrics and catchy melody. While accepting his award, Keeravani thanked director SS Rajamouli for bringing this story to life on screen. He also expressed his gratitude to Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt for their wonderful performances that made this song even more special.

The much-anticipated action drama ‘RRR’ has taken India’s cinema world by storm. Directed by SS Rajamouli and starring superstars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, the film is one of the country’s most expensive films to date, with a budget of over US$49 million.
Featuring dazzling fight scenes and stunning cinematography, ‘RRR’ has become one of India’s highest grossing films this year, taking in over US$155 million at the box office within three weeks of its release. It also earned its first Golden Globe nomination in 2021 for Best Foreign Language Film, cementing its status as a global cinematic success.
